The external ones are very painful. They can irritate a lot faster, causing itching or bleeding. When they bleed, most of the people also call this type bleeding hemroids.
Sometimes external hemorrhoids form thromboses hemorrhoids. This form really hearts like hell, and gives that burning sensation most of the patients can't stand.
